Hello everyone!
Things at the Speculative Fiction Group have gotten quiet this fall but with the new year comes a our next critique marathon. The Winter Marathon generally begins the first week of January and continues to the end of February or early March, as December is too hectic for many people to participate in a marathon. This year the first week falls early so I think a better start date would be January 9th. It will be at least eight weeks long, but can go to ten weeks if things are going well.
So polish up your latest manuscripts and get your chapters ready to post on January 9th if you want to participate! Even if you signed up a few months ago but haven't been active, we'd be happy to have to come and join us for the marathon.
Looking forward to seeing what you've all been working on these past few months!

This approached quickly. I've been doing more reading than writing lately and bouncing back and forth between two WIPs and I haven't made enough progress on either to share at this time. Maybe I'll be ready to participate in the summer marathon.
Good luck to everyone participating in the winter marathon this year. I hope you all receive a ton of great critiques to improve your drafts!
